Friends’ ESG is a framework used to evaluate a company's performance in three key areas - Environmental, Social, and Governance.

1.   Environmental: How a company manages its environmental impact, such as carbon emissions, waste management, and resource consumption.

2.  Social: How a company treats its employees, customers, and communities, including labor practices, diversity and inclusion, and community involvement.

3.  Governance: How a company is managed and controlled, including board diversity, executive compensation, and transparency.
Essentially, ESG provides a comprehensive view of a company's sustainability and ethical practices.

Friends’  primary purpose of ESG is to evaluate the sustainability and ethical impact of a company or investment. It provides a framework for assessing how an organization manages its environmental, social, and governance responsibilities. By focusing on these factors, ESG aims to;

1.  Identify and manage risks: ESG factors can reveal potential risks to a company's operations and financial performance, such as climate change impacts or reputational damage.

2.    Enhance long-term value: Strong ESG performance is often linked to better financial performance over the long term.

3. Meet stakeholder expectations: Investors, customers, employees, and communities increasingly expect companies to operate responsibly and sustainably.
